La ceremonie
The wedding ceremony will take place at 3:30 pm (15h30) at a small, 100 year old Catholic church located in the Paris suburb of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. This quiet town, only about 25 minutes outside Paris, is where Anne-Lise’s parents currently live and where she went to high school.
The ceremony will be in French and should last a little over an hour. The church itself is located at Place Des Marronniers 94100 Saint-Maur-des-Fossés.

La RECEPTION
Motor yacht L’Acajou will welcome our guests at Port Henri IV (4th arrondissement) at 7:00 pm (19h00) with champagne and other drinks from the open bar as we get on our way down the river. Along the way, we will pass some of the most iconic sites in Paris. Weather permitting, the upper deck should allow you to take on breathtaking views of the City of Lights. It can be a bit chilly in April so we suggest bringing a jacket.
About an hour into our cruise, dinner will be served. As night falls, we will be able to take in the Eiffel Tower’s incredible light show. We will slowly make our way back up the Seine to the Port Henry IV docks, enjoying champagne toasts as we take in Paris by night and dance under the stars.
Formal attire recommended.

accommodations
While you are free to book a hotel anywhere in Paris, we have compiled a list
of good quality hotels that are a short distance from the reception venue.
If you decide not to choose one of these, we would be happy to discuss other options with you.
We do suggest that you book as soon as possible since April in Paris is a busy time
(so busy they even wrote a song about it).
Should you choose one of these hotels, don’t forget to mention that you are
coming for the Vivier/Dorry wedding. We may be able to negotiate group discounts once
we secure enough rooms.
Don't forget to e-mail us at the addresses at the bottom of the page to let us know where you are staying.

Hôtel Saint Louis Marais (en l’île)
This hotel is located one block from the Seine and very close to
the departure/arrival point of our nautical reception. It is located in
the quaint area of Old Marais in the 4th arrondissement.
It offers romantic, modern rooms with wood beam ceilings.
It’s all very charming and we think the romantics among you will like it. This is where the bride and groom will stay after the reception.

ITINERaRY
2:00 pm (14h)
If you choose to, a special, chartered bus will pick guests up at 2:00 PM (sharp!) around the corner from Hotel St-Louis Marais. The meeting point is 2 rue Jules Cousin. It is a large partybus, so you'll recognize it. The bus will take you to the church where our ceremony will take place.
Please be sure to get there early as the bus cannot wait too long.
Streets and suburbs of Paris can be tricky to navigate, even for cab and Uber drivers. We strongly suggest you take advantage of the bus. Of course, you may choose to make your way to Saint-Maur-des-Fossés by your own means. Just let us know by e-mail so that the bus does not wait for you.
3:30 pm (15h30)
The church service will start at 3:30 pm. The service will
be held at the Église Notre Dame Du Rosaire, in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés.
See the location on a map here.
5:00 pm (17h00)
Following the church service, guests will then board the bus for a tour of Paris.
If you wish to go back to your hotel to rest or change instead of touring Paris, we will make a stop at one of the hotels. Just make sure to make your way to Port Henry IV on time for the reception as L’Acajou will leave on schedule.
7:00 pm (19h00)
The bus will drop guests off at the Port Henry IV docks where you will board L’Acajou.
There will be an open bar for you to enjoy a pre-cast off drink or three.
7:30 pm (19h30)
L’Acajou will cast off and head down the Seine for a glorious evening excursion. There will be drinks and
dancing as we cruise by sites like Notre Dame and the Louvre. L’Acajou offers a magnificent outdoor upper
deck as well as a beautiful indoor area.
8:00 pm (20h00)
Le diner est servi! You will be seated in the lower salon
to enjoy the feast prepared by our amazing caterer. At some point, just after sunset the yacht will pull alongside the Eiffel Tower so that you can enjoy the first light show of the evening. If you have never seen it, it is truly spectacular!
10:00 pm (22h00)
L’Acajou arrives back at the Port Henry IV docks. But that does not mean the party ends!
10:30 pm (22h30)
It is time to put your dancing shoes on! We will dance the night away on L'Acajou until midnight, when you may hit the town for more late night fun (if you are not ready to hit your pillow).

We have chosen to have an intimate wedding. We hope that this will allow us to spend quality time with each of our guests. It also means that we had to limit the guest list to family and very close friends. We would love to share our wedding day with you, but we understand that getting to Paris, is a major expense both time-wise and money-wise. Because of this, we completely understand if you cannot make it. We know you will be there in spirit!
